Our Approach
In our best relationships, we wear many hats: coach, cheerleader, strategist – and we are honored when we are considered not only our clients’ personal financial advisor but also a friend.
Two things you should know:
First, the Ridley and Hull Wealth Management Group is centered on you. It’s all about you – your goals, your concerns, your possibilities. At the heart of our business is the relationship we share with our clients, many of whom are also our close friends. Simply put, without you, we have no business – and we know that.
Second, the Ridley and Hull Wealth Management Group only works with people whose investment needs align with our strategy. We believe that a round peg doesn’t fit in a square hole, so we do our best to determine if we are a fit for you, and invite you to do the same.
So, how do we do what we do? Here’s how:
Explore
To quote Lewis Carroll – “If you don’t know where you are going, any road will get you there.” We spend time up front getting to know where you are and where you wish to be. You are an individual, not a number. Once we know about your goals and your concerns, we then employ our planning process to help you quantify your goals in measurable ways.
Develop
Once we have determined your goals, we work with you to implement how we can set out to pursue them. Based upon the specifics of your situation, we will help you structure an overall portfolio that is based upon your unique investment objectives, risk tolerances, and personal preferences. While we hope you will benefit from our years of experience and knowledge, we never lose sight of the fact that it’s your money, and we treat it as such.
Long-Term Approach
The media and the internet love to frantically spout about the markets “soaring” and “plunging” almost all the time, but the reality is that we take the long-term view. Wealth is not built in a day, month, or even a year. We run our practice with patience and discipline. Principles like diversification and tax-advantaged strategies may not ever get the headlines, but we believe they will help your portfolio.
Periodically Review With You
While you are out enjoying your family, running your business, or traveling the world, we are focused on making sure that we schedule periodic reviews with you to help ensure your plans remain on track. Change is the only constant – and when your situation changes, or we see new opportunities – we can help you adjust the sails.
If you believe this type of client-first, common-sense approach to investing is for you, then we would welcome the privilege of talking with you about what could be our next great relationship.
Diversification does not ensure a profit or protect against loss. Stifel does not provide tax advice. You should consult with your tax advisor regarding your particular situation.
